Installation process

How to install the IAR Secure Deploy – Prototyping software bundle:

  1. Locate the installer SD-P_Full_Deployment.exe on the installation media and double-click it to start the installation.

    Note

    You need Administrator rights to install the software.

  2. Agree to the license terms and conditions and click Install.

    If a dialog box asks you to confirm that you trust the installer, click Yes.

  3. When the installation has finished, click Close. You have now installed the IAR Secure Deploy – Prototyping software bundle.

Warning

Upgrading the software

If you upgrade the IAR Secure Deploy – Prototyping software, you must also upgrade the Security Appliance firmware to be able to communicate with the Security Appliance. The most recent firmware version is available on your My Pages at iar.com.
